- Pediatric eye care & myopia management
- Contact-lens fitting & training

- Eyeglass dispensing and adjustments
Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Optician to join our optical department and help extend the excellence of the in-office experience.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about eyewear, skilled in optical dispensing, and dedicated to providing outstanding patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients in selecting and fitting frames and lenses based on prescriptions and style preferences
- Perform precise frame adjustments, repairs, and lens fitting
- Provide product recommendations aligned with doctor prescriptions
- Support optical sales goals and maintain inventory standards
- Collaborate closely with optometrists and team members
- Utilize optical software (Visual Eyes knowledge an asset)
- Contribute to pre-testing, ancillary testing, and front-desk support when needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Manitoba Opticianry License (required)
- Strong customer-service orientation and professional communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management abilities
- Proficient computer and sales skills
- Fashion-forward mindset with passion for eyewear and retail
