We are currently seeking a Student Optician who is passionate about providing outstanding service and learning from industry experts. This role is ideal for students enrolled in an Opticianry program who want to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills in a professional optical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service through the LensCrafters Signature Experience
Assist customers in frame and lens selection, offering accurate product recommendations
Record precise measurements, adjust and fit eyewear under the supervision of a Licensed Optician
Operate POS systems accurately and maintain organized, detailed records
Support the team in maintaining store appearance and visual displays
Educate customers on frame care, warranties, and follow-up services
Provide input and leadership by sharing optical knowledge with peers
Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an accredited Opticianry program
Knowledge of optical dispensing and eyewear adjustments
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with optical merchandise and inventory systems
Comfortable using digital tools such as tablets or iPads
Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a busy environment
Preferred Qualifications
Actively studying for LensCrafters Quality, Fitting, and Adjusting Certifications
Previous experience in optical retail or customer service
