Specsavers, one of the world’s leading optical retailers, is hiring a Retail Associate / Eyecare Consultant for its Hillcrest Mall location in Richmond Hill, Ontario. The Retail Associate plays a key role in creating an exceptional eyecare experience. You will guide customers through frame selection, provide expert styling advice, and help first-time contact lens users feel comfortable. No prior optical experience is required — full training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service and ensure every visitor enjoys a welcoming experience

Assist customers with frame and lens selection, offering knowledgeable recommendations

Deliver a smooth optical shopping experience and support patients throughout their visit

Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high service standards

Embrace the Specsavers Customer Experience model to build long-term client relationships

Maintain organization, product knowledge, and attention to detail in a busy retail environment

Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for helping others

Reliable and flexible to work retail hours including evenings and weekends

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

No previous optical experience required — full training provided
